Slaney Foods 2011 Carcase Competition

Slaney Foods held its 9th Annual Carcase Competition in January of this year with a prize fund of €7,000.

This Carcase Competition is symbolic of the close relationship Slaney has with its farmer suppliers.  Furthermore, it is proof to our customers of our commitment to quality and gives the company an ideal showcase to advertise Irish beef to an international customer audience.

The final judging was carried out by Senor Severino Coriele, Vicenza, Italy.  The superb quality of cattle presented over the week reflected the very high standards being achieved, with the quality of the heifers being exceptional.
